Third grade flag football in Kewaunee.

My family after watching football at family events.

Yup.
How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?
It’s gotten easier and I learned how to do it.
What is your favorite part about this sport?
Playing with my best friends.
What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?
It’s addictive — everything about it.
Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, why?
I don’t really have one
What would you say is your biggest asset on the field/track?
Communication I am a loud individual and this helps me be a leader on the field
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Winning a conference championship for the first time in 10 years
How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
I see myself grow as an athlete and it feels good to know I worked hard and didn’t have any regrets
Do you have any pre-match rituals/routines/superstitions?
Going to the gas station and getting a sub
Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big match/game/meet, outside of regular practices?
Yes by watching film to better understand what I’ve been doing wrong and what the team we play does
Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to?
I’d like to shout out V or coach Vandervest as others know him as. He’s a super cool guy and makes complicated stuff easier to understand in a fun way.
Any hobbies outside of sports?
Well we don’t have a team for it so I would say it’s outside of sports. Golf I golf all the time I really enjoy hitting the course with my friends.

Future plans?
I plan to go to college and get a degree in financing to become a financial planner
