How did you get started playing your sport?
I started playing t-ball then community league and from there my love for the sport kept growing!
How has the balance between academics and athletics changed for you from freshman to senior year?
As the years passed, my classes got harder so it was important to set aside time to study and focus on my classes while practicing multiple times a week.
What is your favorite part about this sport? What is the most challenging part about this sport?
Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, why?
Yes, Montana Fouts has always been someone I’ve looked up to because she is a great pitcher and is always confident on the mound.
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Hitting a grand slam my junior year!
What is your favorite field you have played at?
My favorite softball field I have played on is the Louisville Slugger complex in Illinois because of their amazing turf fields.
Do you have a bucket list goal that pertains to your sport?
My goal in highschool was to commit to play college softball, now that I achieved that goal, I hope to keep improving my skills at the next level.
How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
Do you have any pre-match rituals/routines/superstitions?
I always drink a Bubblr before the game.
Do you have a mantra/motivational quote/bible verse that helps you with your sport?
One of my coaches said to me “treat your 10’s like 10’s and your 2’s like 2’s” and it has stuck with me since then.
Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to shout out?
I’d like to shout out coach Jenna and coach Tanner who shaped me into the player and person I am for the last 8 years of travel softball.
Any hobbies outside of sports?
I love to play pickleball and go shopping with my friends.
What is the top song on your workout/warmup playlist?
Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
My plans are to continue my education and softball career at University of Northwestern-St. Paul in Minnesota.
