Salmon’s Meat Market, of Luxemburg, recently took the honorable mention award at the Wisconsin State Fair for their summer sausage. Their item was auctioned off at the Governor's Blue Ribbon Meat Products Auction benefitting the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation and sold for $1,900. The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation supports Wisconsin 4-H activities including 4-H conferences, teaching materials and workshops and development of 4-H youth. The Salmon’s tradition began in 1915 and Salmon’s Meat Products was established in 1966. The Ebert family purchased the business in 2020.
