DENMARK – The Denmark Fire Department’s 17th annual Raffle and Drive Thru Booyah event will take place on Sunday, March 16. Service will begin at 11 a.m. at Fire Station 1, located at 451 North Wall St. Booyah, brats and burgers will be available, but come early because supply goes fast.
The department will also be drawing 10 prizes in their Cash Prize Raffle at 2 p.m. The top prize this year is $1,000. Tickets are one for $5 or three for $10, and are available in advance to be purchased from firefighters and on the day of the event. Proceeds from the ticket purchases will help fund the purchase of a new thermal imaging camera for the department to replace the 20-year-old camera at Fire Station 2 in the Town of Eaton.
The location of the Denmark Fire Department helps to serve southeastern Brown County and a part of southwestern Kewaunee County. The Denmark FD also works with Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) partners in Brown County, in addition to other nearby parts of Manitowoc and Kewaunee Counties. The department thanks the local residents and businesses for their support of fundraising activities. Come on out to Denmark on March 16 for some great food to support a great cause.
