Luxemburg – The Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting the Dairy Days Dash, a 5K run/walk. The race will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 7 at the Luxemburg Village Hall, located at 206 Maple St.
Participants will run a course through the village, beginning and ending at the Village Hall. After the race, they receive scoops of ice cream and other dairy treats from the Kewaunee County Dairy Promotion.
This year’s race will benefit Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department Suicide Prevention Outreach. In the past, the event has raised money for such local groups as food pantries, Boy Scouts and running clubs. This will be the 17th annual Dairy Days Dash.
Runners and walkers interested in joining the race may register online at www.bit.ly/dairy-days-dash, or register in person the morning of the event beginning at 7 a.m.
The Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the common economic interests and general welfare of the Luxemburg area so that its citizens and all areas of the business community shall prosper. Learn more at www.luxemburgchamber.com.
