LUXEMBURG – The Bank of Luxemburg recently announced a leadership transition, as longtime president and CEO Tim Treml retires after 29 years of dedicated service — eight of which were spent in his current role.
On Jan. 1, Darren Voigt assumed the title of president/CEO.
“Treml has been instrumental in the bank’s success. He led a rebranding effort that transformed the bank’s image, replacing its 100-year-old logo with a fresh, vibrant orange design and introducing a modern look and feel for the entire company. This included updating physical branch locations to reflect the new brand identity. Treml also oversaw the expansions into the Howard and Fish Creek markets. He has always focused on building strong relationships with customers and employees and is proud of the positive impact the bank has had on the community,” a bank release stated.
“I’m grateful for the chance to have lead Bank of Luxemburg,” added Treml.
“It’s been an honor to work with such great people and help our community.”
“Voigt, a proven executive with a deep understanding of the banking industry, is ready to lead the bank into the future. He’s been an important part of Bank of Luxemburg’s leadership team for over a decade and is committed to continuing Treml’s legacy of excellence,” the release said.
Then bank also announced that Nicole Kenneke has joined the leadership team as chief retail officer.
A native of Denmark, Wisc., Kenneke began her new role on Nov. 25.
“This newly-created position reflects the bank’s commitment to strengthening its retail banking services,” the bank release stated.
“Kenneke brings a wealth of experience from her successful career in the financial industry. Most recently, she served as Vice President – Branch Network at Community First Credit Union, where she led branch teams in improving customer service and achieving organizational goals. Prior to that, she spent five years as a Regional AVP of Branch Operations, building strong teams and growing branch performance.”
“Nicole’s experience and dedication to delivering outstanding customer experiences align perfectly with our values,” said Voigt. “We are thrilled to have her lead our retail banking efforts.”
Kenneke graduated from the UW-Madison with a bachelors degree in sociology.
“Her understanding of community-focused banking and her commitment to helping customers succeed will support Bank of Luxemburg’s mission to have a positive impact on people’s lives,” the release stated.
